Man United CONFIRMS Forward deal – Legend wants proven star at United – Midfielder to make stunning Man United return?
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Loanee midfielder Sofyan Amrabat could make a sensational return to Manchester United.
Old Trafford chief Erik ten Hag is thought to have been impressed with how the Morocco anchorman finished the season and was reportedly eager for the star to stay put before his loan deal expired.
Now Football agent Giulio Tedeschi claims the Fiorentina star, 27, is a serious option despite the Red Devils being linked to PSG’s Uruguayan ace Manuel Ugarte.
Tedeschi told Firenze Viola, he said: “In my opinion there is a concrete possibility of bringing Amrabat back to Manchester United.
“In my opinion there was some doubt also because it was not known whether Ten Hag would stay.
“Now that it’s certain that he will stay, there are grounds to think about bringing Amrabat back even on loan with obligation, or at a lower figure. The United solution is the easiest.”

Look, if Manchester United wanted to keep Amrabat they surely would have held talks over a deal earlier in the season? He was decent but not great.
He clearly wanted to stay at United and it seems that Erik Ten Hag would like to have him back again – although the signing of Ugarte will mean that Amrabat would not get alot of game time in that United midfield.
But it will be interesting to see how this all plays out, as there is alot of speculation regarding this potential deal. But one thing is for sure – the midfielder is keen on a move back to the club and if United seriously want the man – Fiorentina will not stand in the way.
But as we said – he was only good towards the end of the season last year – the rest of the time he was not.
SCHOLES WANTS PROVEN SIGNING –
Paul Scholes has urged Manchester United to bolster their options in attack with the addition of a ‘proven’ centre-forward this summer.
There are hopes that Joshua Zirkzee’s arrival will ease the load on Rasmus Hojlund, who managed just ten goals across an up-and-down debut season at Old Trafford on the back of a £64million move.
There has been alot more transfer talk in the media about who Erik Ten Hag could bring to Old Trafford over the next few weeks – especially as it seems that the board are backing him this transfer window.
Now – Speaking to Sky Sports, Scholes argued that Manchester United ’s over-reliance on an Hojlund had been ‘unfair’ and encouraged his former side to bring in an experienced striker to help out in the goalscoring department.
‘When I think about Manchester United, I think about brilliant centre-forwards,’ the legendary ex-United and England midfielder said.
‘I think they’ve had one young one last year in Rasmus Hojlund who they have had to rely on and it was a little bit unfair. He’s a young player, still learning the game.
‘They’ve bought another young one [Zirkzee]… I would like to see an experienced centre-forward come and help with that and virtually guarantee goals.
‘Whether that man is out there, I don’t know. But I think they need somebody who is proven and somebody who is proven and go on and be successful next year.’

Manchester United can be happy with the signings that the club have made over the past few weeks – they will certainly will improve the side – but we do agree with Scholes and the club needs to add to that attack with another proven centre-forward.
But will Man United do that kind of business now that they have Hoijlund and Zirkzee at the club?
HUGILL MAKES MOVE –
Wigan have signed forward Joe Hugill on loan from Manchester United, it has now been announced.
The 20-year-old joins the Latics until the end of the 2024/25 campaign and will wear the number nine shirt, after Manchester United decided that he needed another loan away from the club in order to get some first-team experience.
Hugill, who spent the second half of last season with Burton Albion, said: “I am very delighted to be here. It’s been a long time coming, but I am over the moon to get it done, and can’t wait to get started.
“To get the number nine shirt is a massive honour, and I will wear it with pride. Hopefully, I can show what I can do with it.”
Wigan manager Shaun Maloney said: “I am delighted that we’ve managed to sign Joe. He’ll be a great addition to the group, and I am looking forward to working with him.
“He is a hard-working number nine and has been a natural goal-scorer throughout his time at Manchester United. He has a lot of strong attributes and I am really happy to have him here.”

The lad is now 20 years of age and must start think about a more permanent move away from Manchester United – he has been sent out on loan a number of times over the seasons and not ben given a chance in that Red devils side.
So if he performs well at Wigan – we are sure there is some sort of option to buy the lad at the end of the season -which could be good for the player as he needs a more permanent home than being sent all over the country every season.
But this is a good move for Hugill.
