Inter Milan have slapped £27 million price tag on exiting Manchester United target
Inter Milan have slapped a £27million price tag on Christian Eriksen, with Manchester United still linked with a transfer move.
It is no secret that this United side is lacking a bit of creativity in the side, that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is struggling to see the goals that he would like, and that would help this United side pick up the results he needs.
That has led to reports in the media suggesting that money will be spent in the coming transfer window on adding a new midfielder to the squad, with the likes of Houssem Aouar and Isco high up on the shopping list
However, there has also been reports claiming that United have expressed an interest in signing former Tottenham star Eriksen from Milan, especially after it was revealed by the Italian giants that the midfielder is free to leave in the winter window.
Eriksen believed he was ready for a fresh challenge and moved to Inter just last season, but despite all the hype that surrounded his move, he has struggled to make any sort of impact and has only played 301 minutes of game time this season.
Now, according to reports on the TMW website, Milan have stuck a massive £27 million asking price on the head of Eriksen, which is double what teams were expected to pay when the window opens up in just a few weeks time
We were massive fans of Eriksen in the Premier League and it has been a shock to see that he is not capable of competing in the Italian League, but at the end of the day, a move to United would not have been the right one.
Eriksen is not an United-type player and would struggled to make any sort of impact, so if Solskjaer is to get the money he needs to improve the squad, he needs to make sure that it is not Eriksen that arrives at the club.
As we said, he is not the player United need
