Premier League boss hands Man United update on possible signing of gifted midfielder
Man United transfer target Christian Eriksen is still undecided on his future – Brentford boss Thomas Frank has announced
Eriksen signed for the Bees in January and proved his fitness as well as his quality with one goal and four assists for the club which helped keep them in the Premier League last season
But The midfielder, 30, is available on a free transfer at the end of the month with his Brentford contract expiring -and even though they have offered the star a contract to stay – he wants to make a bigger move
And now United are looking to take advantage of his contract situation by giving the Danish international a deal, according to recent reports- as Erik Ten Hag is a massive fan of the creative midfielder.
But despite all the speculation Thomas Frank has come out and admitted that the gifted midfielder is undecided about his next move – as Brentford have hopes to retain the Denmark midfielder’s services next season.
Frank told AS: “I know we still have a chance and I hope he will make a decision in two weeks.
“The agreement is that he will call me and tell me what he wants to do. He hasn’t decided yet.”
Eriksen is a brilliant midfielder that would add some more creative quality to that Man United midfield – it really would be a very good move for the player to make should he decide to join the Red Devils
No disrespect to Brentford but Eriksen is a player that is better than the club and if he stays put – it will be because he feels safe in his surroundings
It will be interesting to see where he ends up – but as we said – he would be a very good signing for Man United
