Belgian Terreur announces two-year Manchester United deal for Fellaini is done and dusted
Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur has claimed Marouane Fellaini is all set to sign a new two-year deal to stay at Manchester United.
The big Belgian has seen his future at the club come into serious question over the past few months, as speculation suggested he was not ready to sign a new deal with United as he was not guaranteed regular first team football.
Fellaini knows at this stage of his career, he is keen to play as much as possible as he knows time is running out on his professional footballing career.
And there had been reports earlier this week which suggested he was all set to sign for Arsenal, after admitting an announcement on his future will be arriving soon.
However, in a shock twist regarding his future Terreur has claimed he is set to sign a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2020.
He wrote on Twitter: “Marouane Fellaini and Manchester United are close to an agreement over a new deal.”
United already have Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera and new signing Fred as their preferred central midfielders, just to name a few, meaning Fellaini will have to settle for more game time than he wanted.
