Opinion: Will new Manchester United signing become a legend at Old Trafford?

Bruno Fernandes will become a Manchester United “legend”, according to team-mate Diogo Dalot, but could he?

Fernandes ended months, and month, AND MONTHS of transfer speculation in the January transfer window when he finally made the move to the premier League and decided to sign with the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knew that he needed to add some star quality to his attack, add something different, and that is what Fernandes has added to this United side, and he has already won the fans over with his goals and performances.

And Dalot has now opened up and claimed that he will eventually become a United legend: “He’s a top guy, a top player. He is going to be a legend, no doubt about that,” he told the official Manchester United podcast.

“He’s unbelievable, he can get better of course as well. He’s going to learn a lot from this club. I think he is a massive player to have in this team and he’s going to be a very good player for this club.

“He was the captain at Sporting, of course he’s an experienced player as well, 25 years old, he’s played in Italy, he played in Portugal as well. He knows what he is doing. It’s going to be very good for him.”

Fernandes was certainly a wonderful signing for United and definitely a player that most clubs missed out on, so if United can sign a few more players like him during the next couple of transfer windows, they will once again be challenging for all those major titles.

If he carries on the form that he is managing and scoring the goals he has been, he can become a great at United, but becoming a legend may be out of the question!?
