AC Milan decision means Manchester United now free to wrap up transfer signing!
Manchester United have received a boost in their bid to sign Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee after AC Milan ended their interest in the Dutchman.
Having had one of the clubs worst Premier League seasons and then shocking Man City in that FA Cup final – there has been alot of speculation about who Man United could sign this summer window
Erik Ten Hag is keen to add a striker to his impressive United attack at some point in the coming transfer window as that is an area that needs to be improved on with Rasmus Hojlund not hitting the goals that the club would have liked.
That has led to many reports in the media that Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing the striker this summer but recent reports has revealed it is ‘now or never’ if they want to sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee.
But now according to reports on the SUN – AC Milan have ended their chase for Zirkzee – which has reportedly opened the door for Man United to finally sign the striker and end their search for another forward this transfer window.
But former Netherlands international Bryan Roy bhas warned the Red Devils about making a move for Zirkzee – claiming that he is not ready to make that next step in his career – he told TuttoJuve: “Zirkzee, unlike [Teun] Koopmeiners, is not yet ready for the big jump. He is still young, he needs another year at Bologna where he can score a lot.
“It would be important to test himself in the same team but with a different coach. Then he will think about what to do.”

Zirkzee is a talented young striker – but is he any better than Rasmus Hojlund? probably not. but he would add some more depth to that attack.
