Man United green light to sign Worldie La Liga star – £84M man open to leaving European giants

It has been claimed that long-term Manchester United target Ronaldo Araujo is open on leaving Barcelona this summer window.

Erik Ten Hag is the man that the United board feel can take the club forward after months of speculation finished at the start of the summer window – when the Red Devils board opted to keep hold of the Dutchman

A number of players have already been brought to Old Trafford over the past few weeks – but there is a feeling in the media that Manchester United need to sign players that have already proven themselves at the top of the game and could make an immediate impact.

Araujo suffered an injury last month that is expected to see him miss the start of the season, causing Barcelona to consider leaving him unregistered for their squad for the first half of the campaign.

And According to SPORT, this has angered Araujo, with the player now open to leaving the club this summer.

If Barcelona make the decision to sell the defender in the Summer window – he would be a brilliant addition to that Manchester United side – especially now that Leny Yoro could be out of action for a while

Ten Hag will want players that are proven at the very top of the game and he will need the backing of the board if he is to get the players he feels could take the club forward in the coming season.

If Manchester United managed to complete the signing of Araujo from Barcelona – it would be a massive signing for the club and one that could work out – as he would be the ideal partner for Yoro when he comes back from injury.

He could be a great signing.
