Ex-Blues star Would be ‘very good signing’ for Man United – Red Devils board told

Reporter Iomie Stanley believes that ex-Chelsea player Marc Guehi would be a ‘great signing’ for Manchester United

Despite all the focus on the future of Erik Ten Hag – there is still alot of speculation surrounding the players that the club will look to sign during the summer, especially now that they will be back in Europe.

That has led to some rumours in the media which have claimed that Man United and Tottenham are both ready to battle it out for the signature of Guehi – who has been impressing at Palace this season.

And adding a new defender to the squad is high up on things to do in the transfer window as Rafael Varane is departing the club and will need to be replaced immediately by Manchester United

And Stanley thinks that signing Guehi would be a wise move for the Manchester giants, he told icfootballnews:‘Marc Guehi would be a great signing for United

‘He’s been knocking on the door of the top clubs for a few seasons now. He’s English, he’s young with good technical ability on the ball and he’s quick so he’s a modern centre back.

‘He’s decent enough in the air to cope and he’s got a great attitude. He’s a good character around the dressing room and is ready for that next step in his career.’

And the fact that he would add depth to the squad for not alot of money – he could be a very good signing for Manchester United
