Manchester United interested in signing exciting €80 million winger in January

Samuel Chukwueze is high up on the list of players that Manchester United are interested in ahead of the January transfer window.

We all know that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failed to get all the transfer business done that he needed too over the course of the summer window, and many fans are not happy with the business that he actually did do.

However, with the January window just a few weeks away, there has been alot of speculation in the media that Solskjaer will once again be handed some funds to improve this United squad, with the impressing Chukwueze on the list.

Chukwueze, a 21-year-old winger, has a goal and two assists in 11 appearances for his club this season and scored for Nigeria in the last international break, but it is his performances for Villareal that has been attracting all sorts of interest.

According to La Razon (via Sport Witness), United are one of six English clubs keen on the youngster and are prepared to ‘push harder’ than fellow suitors Real Madrid if they are unable to seal a deal for Jadon Sancho.

Chukwueze has a release clause of €80m, and the report claims Liverpool could rival United for his signature while Leicester City, Everton, Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been named as interested parties.

United do need to improve this squad in the coming windows and make better transfer decisions than they already have been, so it will be very interesting to see if United make a move for this talent, he is very gifted.

Although fans would surely like to see a more established player make a move to Old Trafford.
