Manchester United set to open talks after being invited to hold Thiago Negotiations

Manchester United are set to start negotiating the signing of Thiago Alcantara, shock reports have claimed.

Despite the fact that Liverpool are now the Champions of the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp knows that he needs to delve into that transfer kitty and try to improve his squad in the summer window.

ANd there has been reports that he is still looking to add a bit quality, creativity and world class ability to his already impressive midfield and has been keeping a close eye on the developments involving Thiago.

Thiago has told Bayern Munich that he wants to leave the club and is eager to test himself in the Premier League over the next few seasons, but despite all the links to Liverpool, the Reds have so far failed to make any moves.

Man City and Arsenal have also been linked with him, but now ESPN claim United have been ‘invited’ to negotiate for the signing of Thiago, who would only cost the club around £27 million to acquire.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is an admirer of Thiago and is reportedly keen to keep adding to his squad this summer window in order to push on from a relatively successful season last year.

Look, Do United need Thiago right now? Probably not in many peoples eyes. But at the end of the day he is a world class player that is going for a real bargain and the Red Devils would be foolish not to try and wrap up a transfer deal.

You can never have too many good players in your squad.
