Signing of David? star officially tells Manchester ‘he would love’ Premier League move ahead of possible £60m Old Trafford deal
Manchester United target Jonathan David has put the Red Devils on red alert by revealing that he would “love” to play in the Premier League.
United may not be able to do any transfer deals right now because of the coronavirus outbreak, but that has not stopped speculation in the media suggesting that the Red Devils are lining up a number of possible summer signings in order to improve this squad,
And one player that has been linked with a move to United now is David, who has been impressing over in the Bundesliga over the last few seasons and has become a hot topic for most clubs in the Premier League, who have reportedly sent scouts out on a regular basis to take a look at the ability of the young man.
Now, the likes of United have been left on alert after the £60 million rated David admitted that he is interested in playing in the Premier League, He told The Guardian: “I don’t really focus on that or think much about it.
“Right now I’m playing almost every minute of every game and that has really helped me get to the level that I need to be. I just need to take a good step where I can make sure I am getting enough time on the pitch to keep developing.
“I don’t want to go somewhere and just stay on the bench so it’s about taking the right step.
“I want to become one of the best strikers in the world. That’s my goal.
“The Premier League is the best in the world and most competitive so obviously that is somewhere I would love to play in the future.”
This is pretty much just what United want to hear and all they need to do is make a move and offer the right kind of money, and they will seemingly get one of their long-term targets.
