There has been some reports which have claimed Man United have made contact with Chelsea target Joules Kounde about a possible transfer move to Manchester.

Before all the news broke which stopped Chelsea from doing any business, there were many reports in the media that the club had opened up talks with Sevilla about a possible transfer deal for Kounde

Kounde is a young defender that has been making all the right noises in the game over the past few seasons, and there has been much speculation that all the biggest clubs will make a move when the transfer window officially opens up.

Chelsea may not be able to sign players just yet, but that has not stopped the speculation about the new owners and who they will try and sign in the transfer window, and Kounde is a man that is once again on the lips of many at the club

However, According to Todo Fichajes, the Red Devils now look the favourites to sign Kounde in a potential €70million deal after contacting the player.

Man United will be getting a new boss in the form or Erik Ten Hag in the coming weeks, and considering that Man United back-line has been a real source of problems this season, the Dutchman will need to add a new defender to the squad.

Kounde is a very special talent that could go on to have a big future in the game, and his performances have alerted all the big clubs. so they all know that he is not the finished article just yet, and may not be top-class

However, Kounde is a player that the club and the owners should try and sign.

He would be worth that €70million that he is currently valued at by the Spanish giants
