Klopp vs Ssolskjaer on as 50-goal midfielder Fernandes tells Man United and Liverpool “I dream of playing in England”
Bruno Fernandes has told the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United his dream of playing in the Premier League.
Despite having a number of top-class midfielders at the club already, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to splash the cash and bring in another creative midfielder, especially as there are rumours in the media which have claimed Paul Pogba could be leaving the club.
Pogba has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months as speculation has claimed that he will leave the club this transfer window after they failed to get back inside the Champions League spots.
And one name which has been linked with a possible move to Old Trafford over the past few weeks is that of Fernandes, with the Sporting Lisbon midfielder impressing this season and helping his side with 50 goals this season, either created or scored.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also seeking to bolster his side over the next few months and has been impressed with the Performances of Fernandes, especially his 26-goals from midfield.
And he will have a good chance of getting a deal done, especially after Fernandes admitted that the Premier League is a dream of his.
He told Radio Renascenca (via Calciomercato.com): ‘ I never said that I wanted to leave, I am happy here. Even so, sometimes you can’t say no to certain offers. I would only leave if Sporting also agree to this. I dream of playing in England….’
Fernandes has shown great quality over the past few seasons and his record for goals and assists this season speak for themselves, so it will be interesting to see just whom he would choose if both Liverpool and United make an official offer.
He is seemingly destined to make a big move away from Lisbon and the Premier League is the logical step, especially as it is regarded as the best League in world football.
