Manchester United to splash £130 million on Premier League duo Maguire and Maddison?
Reports have claimed Manchester United are ready to raid Leicester City for James Maddison and Harry Maguire.
Maguire become one of the most talked about defenders in Europe after impressing for England during the world cup and his performances caught the attentions of a number of top Premier League sides, with United also keen to acquire his services.
Former boss Jose Mourinho was desperate to improve the back-line and constantly admitted that he wanted to sign a new defender before he got the sack earlier in the season and replaced by boss Solskjaer.
Solskjaer has been impressive as boss of United and now that he is permanent boss for the foreseeable future, he will be able to acquire the players whom he believes will help get the side back inside the top four and then challenging for the premier League title.
And the United boss is also keen to improve his midfield, and with Maddison becoming one of the most impressive players in the Premier League over the past 12 months, he has attracted interest from some of the biggest teams.
And according to reports on the Daily Mail website, United are ready to splash close to £130 million to secure a double deal for the pair.
Leicester are demanding mammoth fees for both Englishmen, with Maddison valued at £60million and Maguire between £75m and £90m.
Maddison is showing real quality already in his young career and being linked with moves to such big clubs is a total compliment to his ability, so making that Move to United could be a decent career choice, as they are lacking a midfielder like him.
Maguire is almost ready to make that step up and play for a side like United, so maybe a move should be made by Solskjaer, as the Englishman would improve the United back-line.
However, spending such amount of money on the pair will shock many fans, especially as many are expecting some bigger named players this transfer window.
