Man United offered chance to sign Frenchman, Solskjaer told he can sign winger for £78 million, will £90m signing appease Man United fans?

Will Kane signing appease fans? Sancho can be signed for £78 million and Man United offered Umtiti in Manchester United roundup..

Manchester United are plotting a £90 million ($125m) bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to The latest reports in the media.

Kane is easily regarded as one of the finest strikers in world football right now and is well on course to have one of his best ever seasons as a forward, already netting 31-goals this season and adding 16-assists.

That has led to rumours that he could leave the club at the end of the season as he wants to add trophies to the cabinet, which has meant that the likes of United, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked.

The prolific frontman has missed out on major silverware once again this season and is ready to explore his options, which will put many clubs on alert in the transfer window.

Now reports on the SUN website have claimed that United are now plotting a massive £90 million move to try and secure a transfer deal for the hitman, with the club’s ownership wanting to appease fans after the Super League fiasco.

The news comes just a few days after the striker admitted that he still has a burning desire to win the “biggest prizes” in the game.

“Individual awards are great, they are fantastic achievements,” said Kane. “When I look back at the end of my career, I will go over it and take in a little bit more.

“The goal right now as a player is to win team trophies. As much as this [award] is great, I want to be winning the biggest prizes that there is to offer as a team and we are not quite doing that.

“It is one of those [situations], it is bittersweet. I would rather be winning team trophies and this award. It is what it is.”

Kane added on Tottenham’s current standing in England after their humbling against Man City: “We still have a way to go before we can reach that level of City and those teams at the top of the league. We’ve got to keep working hard, learn from it and try and finish the season strongly.”

Dortmund have lowered their asking price for Manchester United target Jadon Sancho to around £78 million ($108m).

It is no secret that Sancho was the number one transfer target for the top clubs during the summer transfer window, but no deal could get done for the winger as his asking price was far too high.

Sancho endured a slow start to the 2020-21 campaign after being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League giants, but has started to get back to his best since the turn of the year

But with the transfer window just a few months away, there is already speculation in the media that he will be allowed to leave Dortmund at the end of the season, should the likes of Chelsea, or Manchester United, make a significant offer for his services.

However, the club’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, revealed recently that a “gentleman’s agreement” was in place to allow the winger to move if certain conditions were met.

“We already had a gentleman’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions,” Zorc told ARD. “He’s been with us for a few years. But there is no such agreement with Erling.”

And now Goal has learned that those conditions would allow Sancho to move for around £78m ($108m) – a sizeable drop from the £108m ($150m) that Dortmund were initially asking for.

Roundup…

Sancho is a player that will go on to do great things, and will go on to demand a big asking price. United would be a fantastic place for him to develop, especially under the guidance of Solskjaer.

So even though there are a few months to go, and even though United are still seeking to win some trophies, Sancho is a statement signing that would send a message to the rest of the Premier League.

Reports have claimed that Manchester United target Samuel Umtiti has been offered to the Premier League by Barcelona.

It is no secret that Barcelona are one of the greatest teams in world football right now and are only a handful of sides that are able to pay massive wages to superstars like Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Antoine Griezmann.

However, it is no secret that Barcelona are a club that are in debt and they will be looking to offload a number of players in the summer transfer window in order to generate some funds in order to sign their own transfer targets.

And according to reports on the Sky Sports website, they no longer wish to keep hold of Umtiti and have offered him to the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Tottenham and Chelsea for a bargain price of just £20 million.

umtiti is rated very highly across Europe and has been linked with a move to the Premier League on many occasions, but he has tried to prove that he has the ability to be a Barcelona player, without really being given a real shot at that chance.

Roundup…

If the reports is true and Barcelona are being forced to sell some players this transfer window, or the next, then there are a few players that United should try and acquire that would make a serious statement to the rest of the Premier League.

Umtiti may not be playing his best football at Barcelona, but at the right club, he could be a massive signing and if United do decide to pay £20 million to get a deal done, he would be well worth the money.
