Man United terms with Sancho agrees, Cole backs £100m move, Greenwood told to ignore the hype

Sancho has agreed Man United terms, Cole backs Sancho to Old Trafford, Greenwood told to ignore the hype in Manchester United roundup..

Andy Cole has backed Manchester United’s move for Chelsea target Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer transfer window.

Sancho is one of the most talked about young players in the game right now and has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Manchester United leading the chase to try and get a transfer deal done.

It is believed both clubs believe that Sancho would be another statement signing that they will need in order to get back challenging for that Premier League title, and are even ready to pay the massive £100 million asking price that has been placed on the head of the winger.

However, amid all the transfer speculation linking the man with a move back to the Premier League, Cole has backed United to make a move and finally get a deal done for Sancho, He told MUTV: “You’re always looking to bring in players.

“There’s talk of Jadon Sancho coming in. Would he give Manchester United something different? Of course he would.

“I’m not going to sit here and say, “Oh no, he’s not good enough!” because of course he’s good enough.

“He’s got pace, he’s got the ability to go past players, score goals and create.”

Luke Shaw says Mason Greenwood should “ignore the hype” around himself at the minute, but claims can become a Manchester United legend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has offered the youngster regular outings this season, and seen that show of faith rewarded with an impressive haul of 13 goals from the young man, as he continues to make that right-wing his very own.

There is talk that he could go on and become a real world class player for the club in the comings seasons, and there have even been some comparison with the great Cristiano Ronaldo, who is regarded as one of the finest players of all time.

Now, Shaw has opened up and told Greenwood that he should “ignore the hype” around himself at the minute, but also admits that the young man can become a legend with the Manchester giants.

‘The growth that Mason has made in the last year and a half he has been in and around the first team is amazing,” Shaw told Sky Sports.

“For me personally, I feel like he has turned from a kid to a man in such short time and now he’s understanding what this league is about.

“He has grown in size, he has got stronger and he is not fragile anymore. [Before, he] could be pushed off the ball.

“The most important thing I would say for him is ignore the hype, ignore what people are saying, just focus on yourself, keep doing what he’s doing and there is no reason why he can’t become a very important player for Manchester United in the future.

“He can become a United legend, no doubt about it.”

Chelsea target Jadon Sancho has reportedly agreed terms with Manchester United, Journalist Ian McGarry has come out and claimed.

But it seems that Manchester United are set to win the race to sign the talented winger, as according to The Transfer Window Podcast, United have reached an agreement over Sancho’s wages.

Journalist Ian McGarry said: “Sancho has agreed in principle in the last few weeks a five year contract with Manchester United which will pay him initially around £140,000-per-week.

“But increasing to around £200,000-per-week over the course of that deal.

“The player’s agent Emeka Obasi has recently been busy doing other deals notably [Bukayo] Saka’s new deal at Arsenal.

“But he is still hopeful that United will be able to agree a fee with Borussia Dortmund.“

Mason Greenwood will push Marcus Rashford out of Manchester United’s first team, believes Glenn Hoddle.

The striker, 18, has been in electric form for the Red Devils lately, scoring two more goals in their convincing 5-2 win over Burnley at the weekend, which has taken his tally to thirteen this season for the Red Devils.

His performances this season have got many Manchester United fans very excited about the type of player that he potentially develop into over the next few seasons, and Hoddle believes the player’s emergence could be bad news for fellow forward Rashford.

“I think he’s a wonderful player now and he’s only going to get better and better,” Hoddle told Premier League Productions.

“I’m really impressed with the two feet. I love to see players play with two feet. He’s got a right foot and he’s got a left foot. I think Phil [Neville] is right about playing him right in a wide berth. Will he end up down the middle? Maybe, maybe not.

“I think he will push Marcus Rashford out of the team. There’s a quote. I think he will end up being a far better clinical finisher and in the end I think you’re going to have to put this lad in first ahead of anyone else.

“Their front three at the moment is working really well for them, [But] When you look at Martial [and Rashford] they’re all wingers really; they want to play wide.

“So if they did go and get a centre forward, I think he could play round a real main focal centre forward and have him playing round there. Wow! He could be anything with the two feet.”
