Red Devils icon reacts to news that Manchester United are close to stunning transfer deal

Gary Neville says he is ‘bored’ of Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho

Sancho is currently part of England’s squad at the European Championships but barely featured in the group stage as Gareth Southgate’s side topped Group D with two wins and a draw.

However, he is still one of the most exciting players in world football right now and is tipped to go on to become one of the very best attackers in world football, if he makes the right moves

Sancho was first linked with Manchester United last summer but the Premier League club initially baulked at Dortmund’s valuation of the England star, as they did not want to pay that £100 million asking price

However, the German side have dropped their asking price and are reportedly ready to let the Englishman leave the club for a fee close to £80 million, which is a little more than the £72 million that United have reportedly offered.

But while Dortmund are still holding out for more money, it appears likely that the 21-year-old will head to the Theatre of Dreams after Euro 2020, and Reacting to the news Manchester United are making progress on the Sancho transfer, Neville said on social media: ‘Manchester United closing in on Sancho… again!

‘A transfer should be a joy and a moment of excitement. I’ve never been more bored by a transfer in my life to the point I feel like he’s already signed and I want to know who is next already. Not the lads fault at all I should say!
