Sorry Liverpool as Manchester United line-up £100m star to replace departing Pogba?
Manchester United are still keeping tabs on Jadon Sancho as they prepare for life without Paul Pogba.
Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football right now, the Englishman has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in world football after impressing on numerous occasions for Dortmund, becoming a creative force in the Bundesliga.
However, there has been some speculation that it is Liverpool and United that lead the chase for the talented youngster, with Jurgen Klopp keen to add something else to his already impressive attack, while United are desperate to add an adequate replacement for the unimpressive Pogba.
The France World Cup winner’s future has been a major point of contention for the past few years, with Real Madrid seemingly his most likely destination.
And according to the Daily Mirror, United are still keen con Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Sancho.
Sancho has been taking the game by storm over the past few seasons and United reportedly see him as he future of the club, especially as he would bring goals to the club.
The Red Devils, however, will only bid for Sancho should they secure the sales of the wantaway duo Pogba and Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.
The funds from these players could be put towards Dortmund’s winger but it’s a transfer saga that could be drawn out into the summer.
Sancho has recently admitted that next season it is their target to win the Bundesliga.
“Next season our target is to win, not come second,” Sancho said.
“I’m really happy with how I played this season. I wasn’t playing that much at the start of the season but was in the team more often later on. It’s all about hard work.”
United and Liverpool are two of the biggest clubs in world football so having both eyeing up possible transfer deals will be a massive boost to the lads confidence. But it is best he stays put as he is developing very nicely at Dortmund and a move to the Premier League right now may ruin his top-class development.
He has the potential to be one of the best wingers in the game and is still young enough for United to keep an eye and then make a move when he is more established in the game.
If he wants to move to the Premier League in the future he will get that move, but as we said he is only 20-years of age and has plenty of time to get that big move to one of the biggest clubs in world football.
