Manchester United ‘have held talks’ to swap flop Sanchez for £85m Dybala, with Juventus exit wanted
Reports have claimed Manchester United will offer Alexis Sanchez to Juventus in part-exchange for Argentine Paolo Dybala.
United tried and failed to secure Champions League football after a torrid start under former boss Jose Mourinho, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his side put in some poor performances towards the back-end of the season, meaning it will be another season in the Europa league.
But there is a big feeling in the media that United will look to offload a number of stars in order to revamp the side, with Sanchez just one name that has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford after failing to reach the levels he endured at Arsenal.
There has been so many players linked over the past few months that United fans have forgotten who could arrive at the end of the season, but one name that has been mentioned as a possible signing is that of Dybala, the Juventus superstar.
Dybala has netted the second-most goals for the Turin club this season, striking 10 times as well as chipping in with four assists, but is reportedly unhappy at playing second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo, who arrived from Real Madrid at the end of the season.
According to reports in Italian football, Dybala is close to leaving Juventus with the Italians prepared to sell the attacker for an eye-watering €100 million (£85 million).
Now, Corriere Di Torino have claimed United are willing to entertain a potential swap deal involving Sanchez and Juventus playmaker Dybala, with talks between the clubs already taken place.
United will surely hand Solskjaer some big transfer kitty to play with as this current Red Devils side needs a lot of work and money spent on the squad, but they need to buy quality over quantity if they want to get back challenging the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for that Premier League title.
Dybala is an absolute superstar in Seria A and is a massive name in the game, but United will have to beat off the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester United to try and get a deal done, if he is seriously close to leaving the Italian giants.
