My man Zlatan! Ibrahomivic heading back to Manchester United this January?

Shock reports have claimed Manchester United could make a move and bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to the Premier League this January.

Signed by Jose Mourinho just a few seasons ago, the superstar made an immediate impact on the United squad during his first season at the club and netted 28 goals in just 46 games, as he helped United claim the Community Shield, Carabao Cup and Europa league titles.

However, he was not the same player after picking up a cruciate ligament injury and eventually left the club to make the move to the MLS and sign for LA Galaxy, as he looked to finish off his career conquering yet another league.

But despite turning 37 earlier this month, Ibrahimovic’s form in the United States has shown he remains at the top of his game and that has led to speculation that he could make a shock return to top level football, with the ESPN saying Mourinho is considering a move to re-sign the veteran in January.

Ibrahimovic is a leader and a winner, and the Portuguese is said to value the influence the Swede could have in the dressing room, as he seeks to reassert his authority at Old Trafford.

Would Ibrahimovic be welcomed back at Old Trafford this January? Here is what we think on a potential deal.

Mourinho is having some serious issues with Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford and is beginning to lose the confidence of the dressing room and hierarchy, with some reports suggesting he will be sacked if results do not improve over the coming months.

So if he did make the move to bring Ibrahimovic back to the Premier League this January, it would have the positive impact that Mourinho is looking for as the striker is a real leader, a winner and someone who young players look upto.
