Man United ‘to meet’ with Isco agent with Real Madrid done with Spanish star
Manchester United will reportedly meet with Isco’s agent to discuss a possible move away from Real Madrid during the January transfer window.
The Spain international has struggled to find form this season and has become extremely frustrated at his lack of game time at the Bernabeu, with many reports in the media suggesting that he will now seek to leave the club in the coming transfer window.
United, PSG and Liverpool have all been linked with a deal over the past few months, but with the Red Devils seeking to add more world class players to the squad in a bid to get back into the Premier League title fight, they are hoping to win the race.
According to Paris United, Isco’s father – who acts as his agent – will hold talks with United and other clubs over a possible transfer in next months window, with reports Madrid are willing to let the Spaniard leave for the right price.
Isco may not be first choice but Madrid know the value of their players and will not accept anything less than £70 million for the former teenage wonderkid.
Could United seal a deal for Isco?
If the Spaniard is truly up for sale then there will be a huge battle to nail down his signature, as Isco has great ability and touch on the ball.
United may have to spend more to compete for his signature, but if they are to get back into the thick of things in European football then they need players of the quality of Isco.
They have the financial power to attract any player to Old Trafford, and have a good chance of getting the deal done if they are ready to stump up big money in the next few transfer windows for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or the clubs next manager.
