Man United Board told Sign £100M Powerhouse and ‘he will score 30 Premier League Goals in his sleep’
Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has told Man United that they should sign Brentfor striker Ivan Toney in the summer window.
Ivan Toney has been in the headlines for the past few months – as it is widely believed that one of the big clubs will come calling at the end of the season to try and get a deal done.
It is no secret that Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are all in need of adding a proven 25 goal a season Premier League striker to their squad – and despite being out of the game for some time – Toney is one of the best.
However – MacAnthony shared his view with Sky Sports on who United should bring in.
Raving about Toney’s talents, he made the bold claim of how much this signing would improve the Old Trafford side.
“He turns Man United into a challenger for the Premier League. I think there are probably five clubs in the world that could end up buying him and he will improve any of those by a country mile.
“Put him in a Man United team, he scores 30 Premier League goals in his sleep.”

Toney is one of the best in the Premier League – so if the Red Devils do manage to get a deal done and do decide to pay close to £100 million – it will be an unbelievable bit of business from the club
Manchester United need to make some statement signings in the summer window – and Toney would certainly be a player that many of the big clubs will get worried over.
