Man United told what new £42M signing will bring to United – United told sign midfielder – United urged sign defender
Here is a roundup of the top Man United news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has urged the club to sign Adam Wharton.
Man United have been linked with alot of players over the past few months but have not signed the amount of players that Erik Ten Hag has probably wanted to bring to the club, but a new midfielder is wanted at Old Trafford
Wharton made an immediate impact in the Premier League following his £22m transfer from Blackburn Rovers to Crystal Palace in February and the 20-year-old has already attracted been tipped to make a move to one of the big Premier League clubs.
Now Parker has urged his former club Manchester United to also be in the race to sign the England international this summer: ‘His range of passing is fantastic,’ Parker said of Wharton in an interview with mybettingsites.co.uk.
‘He very rarely gives it away. He’s always positive with his passing as well. Very, very positive. I think he’s got a long range. His longer range of passing is good.
‘Bruno’s is good, but I think he’s better. He doesn’t give the ball away as cheaply as Bruno. If you’re Crystal Palace unless someone comes in with a really, really stupid offer you’re not going to let him go. Especially the way they finished the season,’ Parker said.
‘The manager is going to want to try and keep that going because the way they finished the season was incredible. The football they were playing had gone to another level, so he’s going to want to keep that level going.
‘But you have to say if someone does come in, I see them selling for £40m or £50m and after one season. I think every Crystal Palace fan will have to say that’s great business.
‘How much of that can go back into building a team? You’re not going to go and get another one like him, but you could go out and get someone different who has the same impact. And that’s the way a team like Crystal Palace will look at it.
‘That’s the way I think they should look at it. You’re never going to replace him like that because it’s amazing how he stayed in the Championship for so long. And I’ve seen him play quite a few times.
‘He’s made the forward step in Crystal Palace. Easily made the next step to be perfect. If he had gone to, say Man City or if he had gone maybe to Liverpool or anything like that he wouldn’t have. He wouldn’t have started as much because they wouldn’t play him.’
LENY YORO MESSAGE SENT –
Incoming Manchester United signing Leny Yoro has already been given an ringing endorsement by Lille teammate and former Red Devil Angel Gomes.
The talented young Frenchman is on the verge of sealing a move to Manchester after United agreed to pay the French giants £42 million to win the race for Yoro -who was also wanted at Real Madrid.
It has been claimed that Man United see Yoro as the ideal player to help fill the void of Rafa Varane – who departed the club earlier in the season after failing to make the kind of impression that many had hoped for.
And if Gomes’ word is anything to go buy, Yoro will be a brilliant player at Old Trafford for many years to come, he was quoted: ‘Leny, from when he first came [into the team], I knew immediately that he was going to go to the top.’
‘When I was at Manchester United as a 16-year-old, I understood what it was like to be around first-team players. But [Yoro] has a different type of temperament.
‘His temperament isn’t normal or the same as a 16-year-old or 17-year-old coming in.
‘It’s almost like he’s a senior pro, the way he trained and the way he conducted himself and everything. It was easy to see how things could only progress for him.’

Everyone will be excited to see what Yoro will bring to Man United as he has made a real name for himself over in the French League – he really is a quality young defender with a big future in the game.
This is a great bit of business by United – it is as simple as that.
GUEHI MESSAGE SENT –
Teddy Sheringham has told Manchester United to sign Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi this summer window.
Manchester United have been looking at adding some quality players to the side over the next few weeks in order to keep on improving the side – And Guehi is a man that as been linked with a move to the club.
Guehi has just two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park having reportedly turned down talks to extend his deal and Sheringham believes United should capitalise and try to lure the 24-year-old to Old Trafford this summer.
‘After the way Marc Guehi played for England during the Euros, I’d quite happily see Manchester United go for him,’ he told Online Poker.
‘I think he could be a star for the club over the next few years. He’s already got a lot of leadership qualities at a young age through his captaincy of Crystal Palace and he just seems assured in everything he does.
‘That’s what United need at the back – leadership and composure. They played with far too many centre-back partnerships last season and you could tell there was no cohesion between the players and goalkeeper even towards the end of the season.
‘Guehi was probably one of the standout performers for an England team that got to the final and one of the players that avoided criticism throughout, so he’s shown he can do it on the big stage, and there’s no bigger stage in English football than Manchester United.’

Guehi is a quality defender and is totally ready for a move to Manchester United – if they actually decide to make a move and try to get some kind of transfer deal done.
