Solskjaer urged to wrap up £60 million Manchester United deal ‘for perfect fit’ who wants Madrid exit
Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to try and secure a deal for Saul Niguez before the transfer window closes.
Niguez is a player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks, having fallen out of favour at the club last season, there has been alot of speculation about his future
Saul’s situation has not been improved by the arrival of Copa America winner Rodrigo De Paul who is also a midfielder and it is reported that Premier League clubs are now looking at the option of signing the Atletico man.
United have done some world class business already this transfer window with the signings of Rafa Varane and Jadon Sancho, but there has been some rumours that there is still one big transfer coming from the club.
And amid rumours that United are interested in Saul, Ferdinand has opened up and urged the club to make a move for the gifted £60 million rated midfielder: ‘I think if the right player becomes available for the right price, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will go and get him,’ Ferdinand told his FIVE YouTube channel.
‘The problem is who is out there and who could be a good fit? Saul Niguez would be a perfect fit and he’s asking price was £160m a couple of years ago, now it’s more like £40-50m.
‘In today’s game that’s a decent price for someone like him who has Champions League experience. I’m a big fan of his. If you can get him in this window, I think you do it.”
Look, United are still a few players away from regaining that Premier League title, but adding a player like Niguez to the squad would be a massive decision, and the right onw.
He is world class and the fact he is on the market means that United should make a move
