Man United keen on bagging 15-assist star after brilliant Bundesliga season!

Manchester United are very interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Xavi Simons on loan,

The 21-year-old, after bagging 19 goals and eight assists during a loan at PSV Eindhoven last season, has racked up 10 goals and 15 assists during his stint at RB Leipzig this season.

There has been talk that he will head back to parent club PSG at the end of the season to be given a chance in their squad – but that ha snot stopped speculation that a number of Premier League clubs will make a cheeky offer for the talented attacker.

Spanish outlet Sport recently reported that the Ligue 1 giants are willing to start discussions for the 21-year-old at €60million (around £52million)

Now – according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo – Manchester United are very much interested in trying to get a deal done for the lad as they seek to improve key areas of the pitch.

And amid all the speculation that Man United are interested in a deal for the attacker – Ruud Van Nistelrooy recently sang the praises of the exciting star: “Xavi Simons is in the spotlight, he is not a new discovery, but I think that he will continue to grow to a world-class level.

“I had him at PSV, now he is at Leipzig taking his next steps. I say that he is a player for a great team even as a starter.

“He has character, he is professional, he is focused on getting the most out of his potential.

“And then he has quality, he is very complete, he knows how to do many things well. He can dribble, he scores goals, he is great in transitions, he plays in small spaces. I see him as very complete.”

Another day  – another talented player linked with a move to Manchester United. But unlike many of the other talents linked – Simons is making some serious noise in the game and impressing in different Leagues and the Champions League.

For the right money – he would be a great signing – it is that simple guys as he is a player that has massive potential and under the right boss could really develop into something special.
