Manchester United wants to sign impressive Dutch midfielder this summer!
Manchester United have again been linked with Dutch sensation Xavi Simons and are ready to make an offer for the midfielder.
The 21-year-old, after bagging 19 goals and eight assists during a loan at PSV Eindhoven last season, has racked up seven goals and 16 assists during his stint at RB Leipzig this season.
There has been talk that he will head back to parent club PSG at the end of the season to be given a chance in their squad – but that has not stopped speculation that a number of Premier League clubs will make a cheeky offer for the talented attacker.
The Sun says that Manchester United are one of the clubs that are ready to pay some big money in order to try and get a transfer deal done for Simons – as Erik Ten Hag wants a few more signings this summer.
Amid all the speculation that Manchester United are interested in a deal for the attacker – Ruud Van Nistelrooy recently sang the praises of the exciting star: “Xavi Simons is in the spotlight, he is not a new discovery, but I think that he will continue to grow to a world-class level.
“I had him at PSV, now he is at Leipzig taking his next steps. I say that he is a player for a great team even as a starter.
“He has character, he is professional, he is focused on getting the most out of his potential.
“And then he has quality, he is very complete, he knows how to do many things well. He can dribble, he scores goals, he is great in transitions, he plays in small spaces. I see him as very complete.”
