Arsenal ‘are now ready’ to get Brazilian deal done in January window – star ‘needs to play’
There has been some claims that Arsenal are now ready to let Brazilian Marquinhos leave on loan in the January window.
Marquinhos made 33 first team appearances during his time with Sao Paulo and was a part of the squad which won the Compeonato Paulista in 2021.
Arsenal Technical Director Edu was very keen to make sure that he was signed by the club this summer – and after a few months of speculation – he made the move to London.
But he has failed to make the impact at the club that Mikel Arteta would have hoped for and According to Standard, Arsenal might let the Brazilian leave in search of consistent minutes.
A loan move was discussed in the summer as well and it remains to be seen with what decision is made with a hectic schedule in the second half of the season for Arsenal.
And the news could well alert the likes of West Ham to a possible deal for the player – as they are looking to add some more depth to the squad but do not have a ton of money to play around with in January.

He needs to get out on loan – there are a few clubs that would be great for him – but the Hammers could be a very smart move for the lad to make as it will give him the Premier League experience he needs
and the fact that they need another winger – it could be a smart bit of business guys that is for sure
