New Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has reportedly made a shock decision on the possible signing of Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

CHELSEA  have not had the season that many would have hoped for and that is partly down the the fact they have lacked goals all across the season – with Cole Palmer dragging the team over the line on numerous occasions.

Christopher Nkunku has been injured for alot of the season, while Nicolas Jackson has only shown glimpses of the potential that many believe he has, and has been backed to never be a 30 goal a season striker.

That has led to many reports in the media that CHELSEA and PSG are ready to fight over the future of Osimhen after he decided that he would leave Napoli in the transfer window and seek a move away from the Italians.

It has recently been claimed that Chelsea are actually winning the race for the big Nigerian star – that a move to the the Premier League is something that he is keen on and he would be getting a massive wage to make that switch.

But According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via Tutto Mercato, Maresca isn’t keen on the idea of signing Napoli striker.

The report claims Maresca doesn’t appear to fancy Osimhen despite his prolific goal record for the Serie A side, netting 48 goals in the last two campaigns, as he does not suit the style that he would like to employ at Stamford Bridge.

There has been so much speculation on the future of Osimhen – there has been so many rumours – but at the end of the day – if he really wants to test himself then the Premier League is the better move for him to make.

But if Maresca does not want the player – then hopefully the board will listen and give him the striker that he actually desires.
