Enzo Maresca sends big message to Blues fans with big Chelsea transfer statement
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has had his say on whether the Blues could strengthen further in the transfer market, despite splashing the cash already this transfer window.
Despite the financial fair play rules hitting alot of top clubs very hard this transfer window – CHELSEA have been splashing the cash over the past few months and have spent over £200 million bringing new players in.
The likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Pedro Neto and Joao Felix are just some of the names that have been brought to the club in recent weeks – and now Maresca has given fans a message about potential more players arriving at the club
“I just communicate the players that I like and the players I don’t like and because there is one week, or 10 days, left of the transfer window, hopefully we can find solutions for all of them,” he said ahead of Sunday’s game against Wolves.
“When you find solutions, everyone is happy. When you don’t find a solution, then you can create some problems.
“At the moment, with the squad that we have, I am working with 22, 23 or 21 players – not with the 42 players otherwise it is impossible. It is impossible for any manager in the world to make a session with 45 players. It’s impossible. You cannot do that.”

Look, at the end of the day Chelsea have decided to sign players in quantity rather than quality and now the Italian boss will need to offload a number of players in order to make space in the side for potential new signings to arrive.
CHELSEA are probably done with signing big players for now – they need to offload a few stars before they can make anymore signings – but it will be interesting to watch what happens in the coming weeks.
