Enzo Maresca speaks on potential Chelsea signing of £65 million star

CHELSEA boss Enzo Maresca has responded to the speculation suggesting that the Blues are preparing to spend £60m on Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

The transfer window has been open for a few weeks now but there has not been much action as clubs make sure that they stick to the Financial Fair Play rules, but that has not stopped speculation.

Chelsea were expected to add a bit more quality to that attack this transfer window, with many believing that a new striker was something that Enzo Maresca wanted to add to his side by February the 1st

However – it seems that a winger is on the agenda of the Blues, if you believe reports, as Garnacho is a player that Chelsea have shown an interest in signing over recent days after learning that he could be sold by Manchester United.

Now Maresca has responded to the reports that Garnacho could make a move to Stamford Bridge, he told reporters: “I’m happy with what we have at this moment. I said many times, on the right side it’s Pedro [Neto] and Noni [Madueke], left side Jadon [Sancho] and Misha [Mudryk] was with us, now he’s not with us.

‘Tyrique [George] is the profile that can help us. In this moment we are okay.”

It is not a shock to see that Garnacho is being linked with a move away from Manchester United, he is not the type of player that Ruben Amorim likes to have in his attacks, he does not work hard enough.

It is a shock to see that CHELSEA are bein linked, but the question will be, is this a transfer that Enzo Maresca wants or who the board wants to sign?
