Enzo Maresca confirms impressing striker will be a Chelsea player this summer!
Enzo Maresca has been talking about Chelsea summer signing Marc Guia.
Guia is a player that CHELSEA have been chasing for the last few months and after rejecting a new contract offer from Barcelona – the decision was made the make the move to the Premier League and sign with the Blues on a five-year deal.
Guia has been very impressive in pre-season for the Blues, but there has been alot of speculation and rumous that he is one player that could be loaned over before the end of the transfer window.
However – Maresca has been very impressed with the talented star and has now revealed that Guia will still be staying at Chelsea this transfer window and will not be getting a loan away from the club – he was quoted on the Football.London website: “The idea with Marc, with all the young players, is to have a look now during the pre-season and then to make a decision altogether.
‘I think Marc is doing well and he’s one of the guys in this moment is going to stay with us and not going to go somewhere.”

Guia has been looking like a very talented player for CHELSEA since his move to Stamford Bridge – and to be honest – has looked like a player that could make an impact at the club over the next season.
There is still plenty of time for the lad to get a loan move away from the club – but if he keeps on impressing for Chelsea over the next few months – then he will need to hope that the start of the season does not see him sitting on the bench.
