Edu told to sign £35M man – Fans told Arsenal to wrap up £200k-a-week deal soon – Edu told to sign star for £100m

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal fc news from IcFootballnews that we think you may have missed today –

Arsenal have been backed to make a move and sign Leandro Trossard from Premier League rivals Brighton.

Ever since moving to Brighton back in 2019 – Trossard has been one of the most impressive players for Brighton and a man that is attracting all sorts of interest

After Graham Potter departed the club for a move to Chelsea earlier in the season – it has been widely claimed that the Gunners will step up their attempts to get a deal done for the player and will make a move in the January window

And if you believe the words of pundit Alan Hutton – he would be a good signing for the Gunners

“He has had a good season so far for Brighton,” he told Football Insider.

“I think he is definitely that type of profile that Arsenal look at. He likes to drive forward with the ball, can make things happen, score a goal. He can probably play multiple positions.

“I am not really surprised after the season that he has had that people are looking at him. It will be an interesting one.

“As long as Trossard can keep his performances to a high level I am sure there will be others monitoring his situation.“

The player himself recently opened up on all the transfer speculation surrounding his future and has failed to rule out possibly leaving Brighton in the coming windows

What has he said?

Trossard said: “It’s difficult to say anything about that now, it completely depends on which club would come. If I feel good and things are good on a private level… but I also know how good I am at Brighton, also with new coach Roberto De Zerbi it looks promising.

“I’m a little higher up the pitch now, which gives me more chances to score a goal. And the more chances you get, the more you can score.

“I think that’s the biggest difference from the last few years.”

Edu told to sign Toney –

Arsenal should consider snapping up “different level” Ivan Toney from Brentford to add to that attack

Arsenal have had an amazing start to the new Premier League season and are playing the kind of football that fans are getting very excited about – and are loving watching

But there is still alot of speculation about who they could make for in the coming transfer window – but now they have been told that they should try and snap up Brentford hitman Toney

Toney hit 31 goals for Brentford when they won promotion out of the Championship in 2020-21 and has gone on to register 20 efforts in the top flight so far during his time in the Premier League

Reporter Iomie Stanley has suggested that there is potentially a £100 million ($113m) frontman in west London.

Iomie Stanley told IcFootballnews.: “I’ll say this. Is there many better strikers in the Premier League right now than Toney?

“The proof is in the pudding, he’s promoted to the Premier League with a team that’s not fancied to stay up, he’s one of the top three goalscorers in the Premier League in a team that, again, is not a favourite to be top-10, top-12 in the Premier League.

‘Arsenal have the brilliant Gabriel Jesus working wonders up top – but he isnt really a out and out striker – a man that can hold the ball up -win things in the air and give Mikel Arteta something different in that Attack

“If you were Arsenal and you can go and write a cheque for £100million and but a striker that has all the potential to be one of the best.

“Toney is destined for one of the big clubs and if i was one of the Arsenal owners – he is definitely a player i would look into signing.

Martinelli claim made –

It has been claimed that Arsenal are keen to get Brazilian star Gabriel Martinelli signe dup to a new contract before the start of the World Cup

This season the Gunners have started the year in fine fashion – as all the new players that they have acquired during the transfer window have already had a massive impact on the side

However – the likes of Martinelli – a player that has been at the Emirates for a few years now – has been really impressing at the start of the new season and looks like a lad that has a big future ahead of him

Now – after his impressive start to the new campaign – and all the rumours that Chelsea are interested in a deal – Martinelli is set to receive a huge pay rise as he continues to impress at the Emirates.

Reports claim that discussions have started to ensure the Brazil international stays at the Emirates for many years ahead

Reports have claimed that Arsenal will need to up their £70,000-a-week offer to around £200,000-a-week in order for the Brazilian to commit his future to the club once again

Now – amid the speculation – Journalist Peter O’Rourke has claimed that Arsenal will be keen to get Martinelli – and a couple of other stars – signed up to a new deal before the start of the World Cup

The journalist told GIVEMESPORT: “Yeah, I think it’ll be in Arsenal’s plans to get those players sorted out and tied down to new contracts.

“Bukayo Saka, obviously he’s been in superb form for Arsenal this season, as have Martinelli and Saliba, so I’m sure Mikel Arteta will be demanding that the club secure these players new contracts, but it does seem there is interest from other clubs in the players.

“So that’s something that Arsenal need to be worried about.”
