Absolute superstar drops bombshell interview – Arsenal have chance to get stunning deal done

Long-term ARSENAL target Kylian Mbappe has taken a fresh swipe at PSG in a bombshell interview.

Mbappe’s desire to depart the Ligue 1 club next year emerged earlier in the week after it was revealed he wouldn’t be extending his contract, which runs out at the end of next season

And this had led to interest from Arsenal and Manchester United among many other top European clubs, with Real Madrid tipped as favourites to sign the star.

Mbappe has since explained why he will be seeking a new adventure to Gazzetta dello Sport, labelling PSG’s ‘shortcomings’ as a reason.

He said: “For a player like me, the goal is to win everything.

“And we knew that at PSG there were shortcomings that sooner or later we were going to end up paying for.

“I didn’t say I wanted to be sold to Real Madrid or want to leave, but only that I won’t activate the option on the extra year.

“With PSG, there has never been any talk of a renewal.”

If there was ever a chance for Arsenal to land one of the biggest names in football right now – then adding Mbappe to the squad is a no brainer.

He is just the type of statement signing that fans would get really excited for and honestly – would get the rest of the Premier League worried.

Mbappe has to leave PSG this summer window now after all the drama of the last few days – and if ARSENAL are prepared to pay £100 million on Rice – why not pay that on Mbappe?
