Mbappe tells PSG he wants to leave, Liverpool already have agreement claim, £75 million signing of Koulibaly to solve Liverpool isssues?
Mbappe wants to leave PSG, Liverpool already have Thiago agreement claim and Koulibaly should be signed in Liverpool roundup…
Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain that he intends to leave the club in 2021.
Mbappe is already regarded as one of the best players in the game, and is tipped to become a real legend of football in the coming seasons, as he is seen as the man that will replace greats Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
But still, there are many links to Mbappe and Liverpool still circling in the media, especially as there is talk that Sadio Mane could leave the club and make a possible move to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the coming transfer windows.
Now The Times claim the French superstar informed the Champions League runners-up that he wants this campaign to be his final season at the Parc des Princes, and report adds that that the 21-year-old favours a move to LaLiga or the Premier League.
The World Cup winner has emerged as one of the best players in the world over the last few seasons and has been linked heavily linked a switch to Anfield, having spoken glowingly about Jurgen Klopp’s Reds in the past.
Mbappe is keeping a close eye on Liverpool and rightly so, if any club were going to tempt him away from PSG right now it would be the Reds. So the news that he has told the club that he wants out is massive.
Liverpool should make a move for Kalidou Koulibaly to help shore up that defence this season.
Koulibaly has firmly established himself as one of the very best centre-backs over in Italy over the past few seasons and his performances have led to rumours that he is coming to the Premier League
The 29-year-old defender has been linked with big-money moves to liverpool for months now, but the reds have so far failed to get any real transfer business done as Jurgen Klopp is in no rush
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently confirmed Kalidou Koulibaly will leave for the right price this summer, De Laurentiis told Canale 21: “Koulibaly and [Napoli striker Arkadiusz] Milik are both on their way out, transfer market permitting.
“So, if the transfer market allows us to sell these two excellent players, we will know how to replace them.
“If not, then we’ll discuss it again next year.”
And Liverpool should be the first in line to try and get a transfer deal done, even if it costs the club a massive fee to wrap up a deal.
They may have beaten Leeds and showed that they have a world class attack, but there is clear issues at the back that Klopp needs to sort out in order to regain that title as the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea will tear them apart with the attacks that they have.
Bayer Munich star Thiago Alcantara ‘probably has an agreement with Liverpool’, it has been claimed.
After it was revealed that Thiago wanted a fresh challenge in the game after seen years with Bayer Munich, it has emerged that Liverpool are the favourites to get a transfer deal done this summer.
It is no secret that Thiago is a fan of Liverpool and many surrounding the Premier League Champions would love to see him make that move to Anfield, but no deal has happened yet and talks over a move have not even started, if you believe reports.
But former Bayern chief Uli Hoeness made a shock claim in an interview with Sport 1 and suggested that he believes that Thiago probably already has an agreement to make the move to the Premier League.
“We offered him [Thiago] a great four-year contract but in the last minute he changed his mind and told us he wants a new challenge,” Hoeness told Sport 1.
“He probably has an agreement with Liverpool or Manchester United, or with both.
“Both clubs did not come to us with an offer. They are bluffing and likely waiting until the last week of the window to make a cheap offer. Bayern must decide whether they want to play this game or stand their ground and keep Thiago.”
Lets see what happens, but considering united do not need the man and it is Liverpool who are leading the chase, it would be a massive shock to not see him make that move to Anfield by the end of the transfer window.
