It has been claimed that Manchester United will allow WEST HAM target Scott McTominay to leave the club for £25 million in the summer

The Hammers spent some serious money in the summer transfer window signing players that they believe could propel them into a Champions League challenging position.

However – that has not worked out and they are languishing down near the bottom in the Premier League and find themselves in a relegation battle that nobody could have imagined.

That has led to speculation that West Ham are interested in a deal for McTominay – especially as it looks like Declan Rice will be leaving the club at the end of the current seasons.

According to a report from 90min, Man United will demand a minimum of £25 million from West Ham for the Scotland international.

However – amid all the speculation and all the rumours  – pundit Alan Hutton has recently opened up and claimed that McTominay may decide to snub a move to the Hammers even if they manage to beat off Relegation from the Premier League this season

I’m led to believe that it really depends where they finish the season,” he told Football Insider.

If it does not go to plan and they go down then of course not, if they just stay up is that something that he can see himself going and helping them get back to where they were?

Only him and the manager at the time can answer that.

But coming from Man United where you are fighting on different fronts to go to a team that is in the relegation zone would be a difficult one for him I think.
