Agent OFFICIALLY confirms Arsenal talks – as Midfielder ‘still wants’ summer transfer

Arthur Melo agent has revealed that the midfielder still wants to leave Juventus this summer – with Arsenal keen on a possible deal.
Arsenal were heavily linked with a move in the January transfer window as Mikel Arteta wanted to add a bit more experience to the squad in order to help him achieve getting back inside the top four.
However – despite the reports The Gunners held extensive talks to sign Arthur in the January transfer window a deal could not get done and in the end -he stayed at the Italian giants.
However, Arthur has struggled for playing time in recent weeks, starting just two of Juve’s last eight matches in all competitions – And his agent, Federico Pastorello, claims the midfielder will now be looking to move clubs this summer.
‘In January he was close to leaving and joining Arsenal,’ Pastorello told La Repubblica.
‘He is too important a player to be marginalised, he must also think about his situation with the national team.
‘He was signed to play a different style of football, with Maurizio Sarri he would have played Jorginho, Allegri likes him but instead he wants to play with two more physical midfielders.
‘It’s a tactical question, and I don’t make the technical choices.
‘But it’s not in anyone’s interest to continue in this situation.’

This is a clear message to Arsenal that a deal is more than on the cards if they make the right offer in the transfer window – and honestly – he could add something different to this Arsenal side.
He is a solid midfielder that has top level experience – and a winning mentality – something that many of these young Arsenal players do not have right now.
For the right money – he could be a very good signing for Arsenal – but lets see if they renew their interest in a move
