Midfielder says its dream play for Chelsea – Striker makes decision about joining Blues, Winger told get January move done
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…
Chelsea transfer target Victor Osimhen is determined to see the season through with Galatasaray – but hopes to put himself in the shop window for Premier League clubs with his performances across the campaign.
The 25-year-old Nigeria striker has hit the ground running in Turkey after completing a season-long loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray in September, scoring nine goals in his opening 11 games in all competitions.
There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that the likes of CHELSEA are still interested in getting a deal done for a new striker in the January window, despite their great start to the new season, and Osimhen is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.
But transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Osimhen has no interest in departing Galatasaray midway through the season and does not even want to speak with other teams at this stage.
‘First of all, Osimhen wants to finish the season at Galatasaray. He is very happy to be there and doesn’t want to talk about other clubs,’ Di Marzio told bettingexpert.com.
‘He wants to play and win there.
‘I will leave a small percentage for Galatasaray to try to buy him and I will discuss with Napoli to find an agreement.”
‘It would probably be less than the release clause, but Galatasaray are so happy with him that they plan to find a solution with Napoli.’

It makes sense that Osimhen stays at Galatasaray and scores a few goals, helps the club win the League and then make the move at the end of the campaign, there will probably be alot more interest.
Osimhen will come with a big price tag an a hefty wage, clubs will not want to pay that kind of money in the January window, not even CHELSEA.
MUDRYK TOLD TO MOVE
Emmanuel Petit has urged Mykhailo Mudryk to stop ‘wasting time’ and leave CHELSEA in the January transfer window, while also encouraging the winger to make a shock move to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Mudryk joined the Blues for almost £90million during last year’s January transfer window, But he’s struggled to get into his new boss’ side, with the squad boasting an incredible amount of talent in wide areas.
Maresca has frequently shown frustration with the winger on the pitch, and his performances have not warranted a start in any meaningful games as of yet and that has led to alot of speculation that he could actually leave the club on loan.
Petit, now, has urged the winger to leave Chelsea and still believes Mudryk can prosper in the Premier League and is confident he would thrive at Old Trafford in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system.
Petit told GamblingZone: ‘Sooner or later, Mudryk needs to make a decision. He arrived at the club two years ago and what has he done? He has not improved and he’s missing a valuable period of his career and his confidence is down.
‘He’s 23 and he’s wasting too much time already and with the new sports direction at Chelsea, I don’t think he has a future there.
‘However, I think Man United could be an excellent opportunity for him as he suits in Ruben Amorim’s formation. His 3-4-3 could see him play him inside right behind the striker at Old Trafford.’

The Premier League was not the place for Mudryk to develop into the winger that many people hoped he would be – in fact he has gone backwards.
If he does leave CHELSEA, staying in the Premier League could be a big mistake
CAICEDO LIVING DREAM
Midfielder Moises Caicedo has opened up and revealed that it is a dream come true for him to play for a massive club like CHELSEA, and is very happy that he made the decision to move to Stamford Bridge.
After establishing himself in the Premier League with Brighton, many had hoped that Caicedo would make an immediate impact at Chelsea after his massive £115 million transfer move to the Premier League giants.
His first few months did not go how he would have liked, but he has flourished under Enzo Maresca this season and has really made that central midfield position his own as he now looks like the player many had hoped he would become.
And now the midfielder has revealed that it was a dream to make the move to Chelsea and it is a great feelin to play for the club: ‘It’s a dream come true,’ Moises smiles, as he talks to the club website
‘It’s a great feeling [playing for CHELSEA],‘You always prepare for this moment and now you are here at Stamford Bridge with your fans and winning games. You are helping the team and it’s amazing – sometimes I go home and just smile.
‘This season, so far, we are doing fantastically, but for sure, all the players, the head coach, and the staff want us to do the same for the rest of the season.’
‘When you come to a big club you always need to know that people are going to talk about you. It was me in that moment [after joining] and I suffered a little bit. But this is football and in football, this happens a lot.
‘You need to be strong, to have a strong mentality, and to have good people around you to help you. I have that; my people support me in every moment and I’m so happy about that.
‘I think he [Maresca] is happy with me because I always try to show him I want to help the team. He can see that in every game. I’m happy working with him, he is helping us a lot. All the players and staff are happy with how we are doing now.’
