Here is a roundup of the top West Ham news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –

Chelsea have now decided that they will hand West Ham target Conor Gallagher a massive contract after his decision to stay at Stamford Bridge in January

Gallagher is one of the most talented midfielders in the Premier League and has been given a real chance to shine this season under the guidance of Graham Potter.

However – there has been alot of speculation about his future at the club and whether or not he will leave – especially with all the signings that Chelsea have been making over the past few months.

He was subject of a hefty bid from Premier League strugglers West Ham on deadline day, but opted to stay in London and fight for his place, and now he is all set to be rewarded according to the DAILY MAIL

Gallagher is believed to currently be earning £50,000 per week at Chelsea, and that could be as much as doubled on a new deal. He is currently tied down until 2025, with an extension on that also expected.

However – amid the speculation – Former Liverpool star Stan Collymore claimed that Gallagher will be leaving the club soon, Speaking to CaughtOffside, Collymore said: “In terms of players leaving, they’ll want to keep a large chunk of their homegrown British players but Conor Gallagher is one I can see being moved on.

“If it were up to me, I’d let him go, either out on loan or permanently. He’s a player they could get a really good fee for and they’d not be short of suitors. The likes of Everton, Aston Villa, and maybe even Newcastle United, would all probably be interested.”

Gallagher is a very gifted young man, there is no doubt about that. But does he have the quality to keep world class players on the bench? Can he develop into one of the best in his position?

He may want to stay and fight for his Chelsea career – but is that the best option?

Rice claim made –

The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano has claimed “all parties” expect Declan Rice to leave West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Over the past few seasons Declan Rice has developed into one of the best players at the club – and one of the most impressive midfielders that the Premier League has to offer.

He really is the leader at the Hammers and a man that they are hoping to keep at the club for as long as they are possibly too – but that has not stopped speculation regarding his long-term future at the club

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the player – and are seemingly winning the race – but again Arsenal fans have been told that the club are in a very good position to seal a deal for Rice.

Now  – amid all the latest round of speculation, Romano has claimed that Rice is expected to leave the Hammers at the end of the season – He Tweeted: “I’m sure Declan Rice will be a British transfer record plus more whenever he leaves West Ham”.

‘All parties expect Declan Rice to leave in the summer after refusing to sign new deal 14 months ago.’

West Ham will be very unhappy when Rice actually departs the club at the end of the season – but it needs to happen, he needs to test himself at the top of the game.

West Ham will get some serious money for the man – but it will be very interesting to see just where he ends up guys –

Abraham perfect –

Roma are reportedly prepared to entertain offers for West Ham-linked striker Tammy Abraham next summer and he could be a great signing according to Reporter Iomie Stanley

Now look we all know that West Ham signed Gianluca Scamacca in the summer window – and he has started pretty well for the Hammers – but David Moyes needs to add more depth to the squad and that has led to all sorts of speculation that a move for Tammy Abraham will be made in the coming transfer windows.

Ever since Abraham made that move to Roma a few seasons ago, He has developed into a top-class striker that has the ability to score goals against the very best defences and on a regular basis – has shown over the past couple of Seasons

He scored 27 goals in 53 matches across all competitions during his debut season and fired Roma to Europa Conference League glory with nine goals in the tournament.

However, the 25-year-old has failed to replicate such prolific form in the early stages of the current campaign, coming up with just four goals and two assists in all competitions.

Roma boss Jose Mourinho is not happy with the goal output of his striker and has hit out at the striker in recent weeks

Mourinho needs funds to sign the striker that he reportedly desires – and the £50 million that Abraham could generate would go a long way into signing the forward he desires.

And Stanley believes he could be a great signing for the Hammers – he told icfootballnews: ‘Abraham is struggling to score the goals that made him such a great striker last season – but so are most of that Roma side

‘ Coming back to the Premier League would be a massive decision – and he needs to make the right decision.

‘The way that West Ham play – the fact that they still need a 20-goal a season striker, despite the arrival of Danny Ings, means that he could be a very good signing for the Hammers.

‘ He has also proven that he is capable of scoring in the Premier League – but it all depends on money.’
