Brazilian decides he wants Madrid exit, Bridge wants Chelsea to sign superstar, Raiola issues Haaland message, Inter make £100m transfer decision which affects Chelsea

Militao wants Madrid exit, Bridge wants Kane at Chelsea, Raiola issues Haaland message and Inter make Lukaku decision in Chelsea roundup…

Reports have claimed that long-term Chelsea target Eder Militao has decided that he wants to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Even though Thomas Tuchel has done a wonderful job since he took over the club just a few months ago, the German boss knows that he needs to delve into that transfer kitty in the transfer window and add a new defender to the squad, with Militao a possible target.

Militao has been restricted to just 30 appearances across all competitions for Madrid to date, and only has one goal to his name as he struggles to make an impact on that Spanish side.

WHAT IS THE LATEST?

Goal has learned that, although Militao has yet to completely give up on his ambitions with Madrid, he is worried that a lack of regular minutes could affect his chances of featuring for Brazil at the World Cup in 2022, and the former Porto star also wants to play for his country at this summer’s Copa America, and would be prepared to join another team in order to make Tite’s final squad.

The Spanish champions are aware that Militao is attracting interest from abroad and have moved to reassure him over his position at the club.

Would he be a good fit for Chelsea?

There is no doubt that Militao is a very good player that can go on to become one of the very best defenders in the game, so the fact that he has not been able to make the impact that he would have liked is a shock.

If he does leave Madrid in the summer, then we firmly believe that a move to Chelsea would be a very wise move to make. They are going to be serious contenders next season.

Mino Raiola has insisted he is not at war with Borussia Dortmund over Erling Haaland, amid talk the likes of Chelsea are very much interested in a summer deal.

Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he needs to improve certain areas of the pitch in the coming transfer window to turn this Chelsea side into Premier League winners.

And with the likes of Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud all failing to impress in front of goal this season, It is pretty clear that the German coach wants to add a premium striker to the attack.

And that has led to alot of speculation in the media that Tuchel is hoping to get enough funds together in the transfer window in order to try and beat the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United to the signature of Haaland.

Dortmund have made their position clear that they do not want to sell Haaland this summer, and the player’s reported release clause does not come into play until the following year, but Raiola does not feel closing the door on a transfer is the correct course to take.

WHAT HAS HE ACTUALLY SAID?

“I can confirm that I was in Dortmund for talks,” Raiola told SPORT1 . “Michael Zorc (Dortmund’s sporting director) made it clear to us that BVB do not want to sell Erling this summer.

“I respect this opinion, but that does not automatically mean that I also agree.

“BVB were very clear in their views. We are okay with that.

“There is no war between us and BVB – absolutely not!

“The relationship with Zorc, Aki (Hans-Joachim Watzke, Dortmund CEO) and [Sebastian] Kehl (Dortmund director) is still good.”

Inter have no intention of selling Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window – with reports Chelsea are very much interested in a transfer deal.

Lukaku, 27, has been a massive hit in Italy, scoring 42 times in 62 league games for Inter, who are currently on course to secure their first Serie A title since 2010, and his record on the international stage is equally impressive with 58 goals in 90 appearances for FIFA’s top-ranked country.

As with the whole of the football world, the COVID-19 outbreak has hit the Italian club’s finances hard, and with the Italian giants reportedly ready to balance the books in the summer, they would be open to the idea of letting Lukaku leave.

However, Italian publication Calciomercato have now claimed that Inter have made the decision to not allow their star striker leave when the transfer window opens up in a few months time.

The reports claim The Nerazzurri are in line for a €100 million (£86m,$196m) windfall in June if they secure the Serie A title, meaning they would then have plenty of funds to spend on new players.

WILL HE HEAD BACK TO CHELSEA?

Lukaku was never really given a chance to shine at Stamford Bridge, but he has made a very good career for himself away from the club, so even though Chelsea are interested, he would surely not want to go back to a club that failed to keep their promises the first time around.

It will be interesting to see which striker Tuchel gets in the summer window, but we would be very shocked to see him arrive at Chelsea.

Wayne Bridge has opened up and announced that he would love Chelsea to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Jose Mourinho’s side have struggled for consistency but Kane has still been a regular source of goals, scoring 29 in 42 appearances across all competitions – while also laying on 16 assists.

The 27-year-old is still looking for his first piece of silverware, and it has been suggested he will seek a new challenge if Spurs finish the season empty-handed and outside of the Champions League places

And that has led to some speculation in the media that Chelsea may try to acquire the services of Harry Kane in the summer window, as Thomas Tuchel knows he needs to add a proven forward to the attack in order to win back that Premier League title.

What did Bridge say?

‘I’d love to see Kane go there, I think he’s brilliant,’ Bridge told bettingexpert.com

‘Sometimes money talks. If you look at how Tottenham are doing at the moment, I think there’s a great chance he could end up leaving if he wants to go and win something. ‘I’m not sure if he would go, but I’d love to see him come in and start banging in goals for Chelsea.

Could he end up at Chelsea?

Chelsea are a massive club and will be a massive threat next season, but Spurs would not want to sell to a rival unless they offered crazy amounts of money that was too good to turn down.

The Blues would be a good move for the man, but we believe that this will not happen as Spurs will do all they can to make sure that their star player is signed by another Premier League club.
