‘Renowned Goalscorer’ backed to complete summer move to Chelsea!
Former Chelsea star Jody Morris has backed Chelsea to make a move for Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of speculation in the media which has suggested that ChelseaFC are very much interested in signing the former Arsenal star
Thomas Tuchel is desperate to add a new striker to the squad over the next few weeks after allowing Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku depart the club – and after missing out on a number of targets – Auba is one of the only players left they can make a move for
And After the Blues were humbled 3-0 by Leeds at the weekend – Morris stressed the need to bring in a centre-forward – and Speaking to Stadium Astro, he was asked whether ex-Arsenal skipper Aubameyang would be a solution for Thomas Tuchel.
To which he said: “You’d have to say he’d improve the team at the moment because he’s a renown goalscorer.
“I think he would function more as a No.9, I don’t think you’d find him out wide or playing on the left like he did quite a few times for Arsenal.
“I think if Chelsea were to sign him they’d want him to operate down the middle.
“I’m not sure if there are others out there or whether that’s the one they’re doing for, but they definitely need something.”

At this point – the signing of Auba would be better than not signing him – Chelsea need a proven striker to lead that attack
And even though we believe he is not the answer to the clubs’ serious problems – he would add something to that attack that Chelsea are lacking – even for the short terms
So, with a few weeks left of the window – ChelseaFC need to start getting some business done guys
