La Liga star reveals ‘he is waiting’ for Arsenal announcement after confirming Emirates move

Spanish star Cristhian Mosquera says he is waiting for Valencia and Arsenal to confirm his transfer as he flies in to complete his medical with the Premier League giants.

Mosquera has just 12 months remaining on his current deal at the Mestalla, but Valencia have the option to extend this contract beyond 2026 and have been in talks over a new deal with the Spanish star.

However – Arsenal have been working pretty hard over the past few weeks in order to get a transfer deal done for the young Spanish star, and now the lad has seemingly confirmed that he will be making the move to the Emirates.

Personal terms have been agreed with the 21-year-old, Leaning out of his car window, Mosquera told reporters outside Valencia’s training ground: “Valencia is my home and it always will be.

“I arrived when I was 12, and now I am leaving as a grown man. [I am] a little sad because [I have] been here [my] whole life, but decisions in football are like that. Now a new era begins.

“I prefer the club to talk first, and then whatever happens, it will happen,” Mosquera added on his impending move to Arsenal. “It’s exciting, but it’s also sad.”

And speaking before his plane departed for London, Mosquera told Superdeporte: “Let’s see how everything turns out. The club is the one that has to speak.”
