David Moyes ‘would love to bring’ £30M midfielder to West Ham
West Ham United boss David Moyes is a ‘big admirer’ of Michael Keane and would ‘love’ to lure the Everton star to the London Stadium.
The veteran centre-back, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has made just five starts this season after struggling with injury and it has been claimed that he will be leaving the Hammers in the coming transfer windows
And it has been claimed that new Aston Villa boss Unai Emery will be in the market for an experienced central defender as he looks to get the club higher up the Premier League – and solve their defensive issues
According to recent reports on Football Insider, West Ham have ‘registered their interest’ in Keane and have made an ‘approach’ ahead of a potential move in the winter transfer window
The reports claims The Hammers are believed to have held a strong interest in the 29-year-old over the summer, and are now taking a second bite at the cherry.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has told GiveMeSport. told GiveMeSport: “David Moyes is a big admirer of Michael Keane, so he will be backing himself to get the best out of the England international.
“While he is not playing at Everton, I’m sure West Ham would love the opportunity to try and sign him.”
