There is a very real chance that Chelsea will sign West Ham star Declan Rice – Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed

And amid all the speculation regarding the man – Stanley has claimed that there is a very good chance that Chelsea will be able to sign the midfielder – he told IcFootballnews: ‘He is ready’

‘There is not a better holding midfielder in the Premier League right now that does the job that Declan Rice does – he is at that stage where his development is being hindered by the level that he is playing.

‘The Champions League will elevate him – competing for the big trophies will keep him hungry – playing with better players will also delvelop him in ways that he needs – it is time.

‘West Ham are a very good Premier League side – will always fight to get into Europe – but when it comes to trophies – when it comes to being on the level of Chelsea – Liverpool -Man City and all the top clubs – they are a few years away.

“Rice still has a couple of years left on that deal of his – so he will still cost a big bit of money – but if Chelse are prepared to pay – there is a very good chance he will be in Blue shirt for the start of next season.”

‘And West Ham should take all the money they can.”

Zaha boost –

West Ham have been handed a boost in their chase to try and sign Crystal Palace star Wilfred Zaha.

Zaha is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with moves to a number of Premier League clubs – especially as clubs will be able to sign him for less than the £80 Million fee that the club put on Zaha’s head in the future.

Arsenal are one of the reported leaders to try and sign the gifted winger if he comes onto the market – as they have been massive fans for a number of seasons and have been heavily tipped to secure a deal.

However – amid all the speculation suggesting that Arsenal are ready to make a move to try and get a deal done for the Man – Paul Merson has sent a stunning message to the brilliant winger

He told the Daily Star: ‘Wilfried Zaha plays every week at Crystal Palace.

‘He can have a bad game and still start the following match and that might not happen at a Big Six club.

‘I think he should seriously consider his options before running down his contract. He’s a legend at Palace and the manager loves him

‘I see someone like Arsenal coming in for him if they get into the Champions League but do you go there and risk becoming a bit-part player?

‘You’re then going on a free. It’s not like you’re Darwin Nunez, who cost £85m and therefore has to play.

“Will he want to play for one week and then drop to the bench? I’m just not sure whether the grass is going to be greener for Zaha.

‘He’s playing the best football of his career and there is a reason for that. He needs to sit down and have a big think about his future.’

Chelsea fc are continuing to be linked with a move for the England International – and it is believed that Rice has already made up his mind about leaving the Hammers after rejecting the clubs massive contract offer

And if Rice delivers in Qatar, Journalist Dean ones thinks the chances of him leaving West Ham will increase.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “We can all see that we’re not exactly sure where West Ham are at the moment, but we can see that Declan Rice is clearly the star performer and the main man of this team.

“If he goes to the World Cup and does well, it’s hard to see him staying at West Ham beyond this season.”
