Arteta and Edu fuming – €110million deal agreed as star flies in to complete stunning Chelsea move

Shakhtar Donetsk star and Arsenal target Mykhailo Mudryk is now on his way to London to complete his shock move to Chelsea .

For months now it has been suggested that Arsenal would be the club that Mudryk moves too this transfer window, as they were the clear favourites to get a deal done.

Mudryk has even dropped tons of hints that the Emirates is the place that he would like to be, but on Saturday afternoon it emerged that senior Chelsea officials had flown to the continent in an effort to hijack Arsenal’s deal and have now won the race for his signature.

According to The Athletic, the west London club held face-to-face talks with their Shakhtar counterparts and agreed on a deal worth €110million.

Now – Mudryk is flying to London to complete his monster move to Chelsea – which is expected to be a stunning seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Mudryk is the top target for Arsenal – they have wanted to sign him for months and looked like they were about to seal a deal – so this will come as a massive blow to the club.

However – they should have known that Chelsea were desperate and needed to add another winger to the side – so were prepared to pay any amount of money to get a deal done.

Mudryk is a very gifted young man that has a bright future in the game – but the money that is being talked about – the wages that he will reportedly be getting is absolutely crazy.

He is not worth that cash yet – and may never be – this is a massive risk from Chelsea to spend so much on a lad that still has everything to prove.
