Record-breaking Chelsea signing tipped ‘to emulate Hazard’ after January move
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has backed Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk to emulate Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk is one of the most talented wingers in the game right now and is a star that Chelsea have invested heavily in this transfer window after they paid £88 million for the lad.
Hazard established himself as one of Chelsea’s greatest modern players during his seven-year spell in west London, winning two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues and the FA Cup with the Blues.
And after seeing Mudryk make the move to London – Hasselbaink has opened up and tipped the young man to emulate the Belgian superstar: ‘Arsenal had their valuation but when you get into a bidding war it’s up to the selling club to hold their price,’ Hasselbaink told Safe Betting Sites.
‘Chelsea wanted to do business but Arsenal didn’t want to get it done to the same extent and Chelsea capitalised on that.
‘I think for Chelsea it’s a very, very good acquisition. I can see him making the fans very happy over the next few seasons.
‘I see a bit of Joe Cole there but I think he could even be as important as Eden Hazard was for Chelsea.
‘I’m not comparing them because that wouldn’t be fair but if you remember, Hazard came from Lille and in his first year he needed some time to settle.
‘But then all of a sudden he took off and became a vital player at Stamford Bridge. It could be the same for Mudryk.’

Chelsea have spent some serious money to get the lad and will be hoping that they have now finally found the replacement for Hazard.
The Belgian was loved by Blues fans – Mudryk has that talent – but whether or not he can adjust to the Premier League is a different thing.
