Arsenal told to sign ‘perfect’ signing – £88M man interested in Gunners move – Arteta does not want to commit

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed today –

It has been claimed that Mikel Arteta has no appetite to overcommit to Arsenal.

Arteta is one of the most talented young managers in the Game right now and learned alot while under the guidance of Pep Guardiola over at Manchester City.

It has took a bit of time – but the Spaniard has brought the excitement back to the club – the style of play that fans love to see on a weekly basis and a sense that the club could start challenging for titles once again.

They are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League – 5 points ahead of the reigning Champions City – and with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United all stuttering this season – are the only main challengers for that title.

But his impressiveness at Arsenal has led to all sorts of speculation that Barcelona are lining up a potential move – as it is simply not working under Xavi

A report on Sport claims Manchester City also considers him the ideal replacement for Pep Guardiola when the Spaniard finally leaves the club – which will not be for  few seasons yet.

Arsenal wants Arteta to sign a new long-term deal and end all the speculation surrounding his future – but the Spaniard does not have an appetite to overcommit staying at the London club.

Arteta doesn’t want to stay longer than he is welcome and will only agree to a new contract if he believes he can continue taking the club forward.

Arteta has done an amazing job at Arsenal – and it is easy to see why big clubs are looking and keeping an eye.

But even though Arteta has no desire to overcommit to the club – there is no worry that he will be leaving anytime soon.

He loves it at the Emirates and is doing what he has been brought in to do.

Mudryk eyes move –

Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk is reportedly very interested in making a move to Arsenal in January.

Arsenal are sitting at the very top of the Premier League – five points clear of Manchester City and playing some of the best football they have been playing for years.

But that has not stopped all the speculation and all the rumours about who the club could look to sign in the January window – and Mudryk is a man that the club are reportedly very interested in signing.

The 21-year-old attracted interest from several clubs across Europe in the summer and his performances for Shakhtar in the Champions League this season have made him increasingly in demand

And recent reports on the Football.London website have claimed that Arsenal have submitted an offer to try and sign Mudryk – although it is nowhere near the clubs valuation of the attacker

Shakhtar’s director of football, Dario Srna, suggested this week that the winger could command a transfer fee of €100m (£87.5m).

Now – according to reporter Stanley – he is very interested in completing a move to the Emirates – he told icfootballnews:

‘Mudryk has really been impressing this season.

‘He has shown quality at the very highest level of the game – and shown that he is able to compete against the best on a weekly basis.

‘Arsenal do not need to spend crazy amounts of money and signs players that will be regular starters – they already have players for that – but they need stars that will make a difference.

‘Mudryk could add goals – could add pace – could add skill and could add a few assists to that Gunners attack – he is an ideal player for Arteta’

‘I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’s already keen on this move.

‘S if they can get him for around the £30-40 million mark – he will be a very good addition to that Arsenal attack.’

Ronaldo claim made –

Arsenal legend David Seaman has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo would be “perfect” for Arsenal –

Ronaldo has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season as he looks nothing like the player that scored over 20-goals for Man United last season – and that is mostly down to the fact he has not been playing under Erik Ten Hag

Ronaldo was axed by the Dutchman for refusing to be subbed on against Tottenham last month, as well as fined two weeks’ wages – and there has been alot of speculation about where he will end up after his contract in Manchester was terminated

The likes of Chelsea and PSG have been linked with a move – but now it seems that Seaman would like to see the Portuguese superstar make a sensational move to the Emirates.

“Ronaldo is far from done and he would be perfect for Arsenal,” Seaman told TalkTV (Via Goal).

“I would applaud him because he’s obviously talking the truth. A lot of the stuff he came out with, is not stuff we haven’t heard. We have heard a lot of other experienced players moaning and criticising Man United for the way the ground is and the training.

“That shocked me and that shouldn’t be happening.

“He’s been all around the world and seen how everywhere has progressed and he comes back to his beloved Man United and nothing has changed.”

Ronaldo is one of the greatest players to ever grace the game – is a pure winner and a man that still has the ability to compete at the very top of the game

So even though he would be good to have in that dressing room at the Emirates – he would cause far too many troubles to be worth paying £400,000-a-week for

We are not sure where he will end up – but we are also sure that he will not end up at Arsenal – he is not the type of player that Mikel Arteta wants to have in his squad.
