Board told to add two players to Arsenal squad this transfer window
Gary Neville has told Arsenal to back Mikel Arteta and add two players to the Arsenal squad.
Arsenal have already bid for Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk this month and have also discussed a possible move for Joao Felix – as they seek to improve their chances of winning that Premier League title.
Manager Arteta has used only 12 players in his three starting XIs since the World Cup, with his options depleted by the injury absences of attacking duo Gabriel Jesus and Emile Smith Rowe
And the Man United legend believes Tuesday’s draw against Newcastle highlights the need for another attacking player – and has encouraged the Gunners board to back the Spaniard this month
He said via The Daily Mail:
‘What they did tonight would have worked well against 10 to 15 teams in the league. They didn’t do badly tonight.
“Arsenal ran out ideas in this game, but I do think Arteta should have something more to call upon on the bench and they should go into the transfer market.
‘They are in a position where they can win the league here, so when are they going to be in this position again? Can the board and owners find those two players that will turn that from one into three points?’

This Arsenal squad is very exciting – but a couple of injuries to their star players and the season could go to s**t.
Arteta needs money to spend this transfer window and needs some more depth – the Gunners board would be fools to not back their manager after such an amazing start to the season.
