Balague tells Toon fans if Rafa will make sensational move back to Newcastle

Guillem Balague has claimed that Rafa Benitez will not make a move back to Newcastle United

Steve Bruce, who succeeded Benitez at Newcastle, is under pressure after a ten-game run without a victory in all competitions, and there has been constant speculation in the media that he will be the next Premier League boss to get the sack.

The lacklustre performances against Aston Villa on Saturday evening poured even more pressure on the boss as his side looked dis-interested and looked like a squad that was finally sick of playing under Bruce.

Now the door has been opened for Benitez to make a sensational move back to the Toon, after the Spaniard made the big decision to leave his current role over in China, despite getting a reported £12 million-a-season salary.

However, Spanish expert Balague has opened up and suggested that Benitez will not go back to Newcastle unless there is a change of manager: “Newcastle is not an option for Rafa Benitez under this owner,” said Balague on the BBC website. “Change the owner and then maybe.

“Rafa has a huge respect for the fans, the club, the town. And I feel there is a bit of an unfinished business there.”

Look, it is a shame that Newcastle fans will not get to see the man they love back at the club while Mike Ashley is owner, but they need to make a decision real soon, as Bruce is losing the players, and the fans.

The results are not great and neither is the football, the time is perfect for a new manager to come in.
