Ramsey free to leave, Auba message sent and Hayden sends message to new signings in Newcastle roundup…

Max Allegri has confirmed that Newcastle linked Aaron Ramsey is likely to leave Juventus this month.

Ramsey has been a player that has dominated the transfer headlines for Newcastle over the past few months after it emerged that he could be leaving Juventus this transfer window.

The midfielder was highly-sought after by the Italians when his contract ran out at Arsenal, but during his spell with the club, he has not performed like many had hoped and he has been struggling to make any sort of impact.

That has led to suggestions that he wants to make a move back to the Premier League, where the likes of Tottenham, Newcastle, Manchester United and Arsenal are all eyeing up a potential transfer deal.

Newcastle are in need of adding a bit more goal threat to that squad as they are lacking goal-scorers, and reports have suggested that they see Ramsey as a man that can come in and add maybe ten goals a season.

Now, many clubs in the Premier League have all been boosted by the news that he could be coming back to the Premier League after boss Allegri opened up and announced that he would be leaving the Italian giants this January window

Speaking on Wednesday, Allegri said: “Ramsey is on the way out of Juventus. I think that the squad will 99 per cent remain what it is right now.”

Ramsey is a player with alot of quality on the ball and still has that threat of scoring, but he is nowhere near good enough for this Toon squad and they should not even think about making a move.

Paying him £350,000-a-week to sit on the bench would not be a wise move, he was good while at Newcastle, but he is no longer that player and would struggle back in the English game.

Isaac Hayden has warned that Newcastle United players won’t be pushed out to make room for new signings

The transfer window has been open for a few days now and many fans are getting excited about the number of players that are being linked with a move to the club, as they are some big named stars

However, Newcastle will have to make room in their 25-man squad for any new arrivals, which means either selling players on, loaning them out or, in a worst case scenario, keeping them on even though they would not be able to play for the first team.

And amid the speculation about players being linked with a move to the club, Hayden has warned that Newcastle United players won’t be pushed out to make room for new signings

“Some players have got contracts,” Hayden told the Beautiful Game Podcast. “If you’ve got a contract and you’ve got three years left, what are they going to do? It’s not like Football Manager where they go, ‘That player’s gone. He’s released’. You can’t do that.

‘They might have kids here, for example. They have got a wife, two kids. The kids are at school. They’re loving it. They’ve got three years left. Suddenly, the club doesn’t want them. It’s not a case where they can just turn around and go, ‘Oh, we don’t want you anymore. Bye’.

“Well, hang on a minute, you’ve got three years left or two years left or whatever it may be. At the end of the day, the fans that don’t see it like that don’t see it from the personal point of view.

“They just see it from a football point of view or a business point of view: ‘Oh, well, that player isn’t playing so he’ll go in January’. But what about his personal side? His kids might be in school. His missus might be settled. They’ve just bought a house. Whatever it is, it’s not going to be a case where it’s that easy to go, ‘The club doesn’t want you anymore. See you later’.

“The club’s going to have to either pay them to go a little bit or….so there’s all these different things that people don’t see or don’t think about when they’re going, ‘Oh, we’re going to have this’.

Stan Collymore is the latest pundit to warn Newcastle United about a potential move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past 12 months as he has not been able to find his goal-scoring touch that prompted the Gunners to give him £350,000-a-week.

His performances this season, his disciplinary off the field has now led to reports in the media that Arsenal are very much open to the idea of letting him leave this transfer window, with a few clubs interested in a deal.

But now it has been claimed that super-rich Newcastle are eyeing up a possible deal, as they seek to sign some statement signings that will get them away from that relegation battle and push them up the table.

However, amid the speculation, Newcastle have been urged to not make a move for Auba by former Premier League star Collymore: “There are many things Newcastle, a giant but struggling club, need right now but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang isn’t one of them,” he said.

“He’ll park his big, gold Lamborghini in the Bigg Market and is one of the last characters you would want in the trenches when the chips were down.

“Perhaps Eddie Howe will partner Aubameyang with Anthony Martial and have the mardiest strike pairing in the Premier League.”

Look, a couple of years ago Auba was one of the best strikers in the game and Newcastle would have been lucky to get hold of him, but he is not that player anymore. He would command a massive wage and wouldnt score the goals the Toon need.

He would not be a good signing
