Calderon Bale message hands the likes of Newcastle a chance to get possible deal done?
Newcastle Target Gareth Bale could be sent out on loan by the Real Madrid this summer, according to the club’s former president Ramon Calderon.
The Wales international has often been cast as a scapegoat by supporters, while falling down manager Zinedine Zidane’s pecking order – meaning that the likes of Newcastle have been handed a chance to try and bring him back to the Premier League.
But the Toon may not be able to pay that massive asking price and then hand Bale the wage that he is looking for, meaning that their interest in the Welshman has cooled over the past few months.
However, The Welshman refused to be a part of the travelling squad for Madrid’s Champions League defeat to Manchester City and Calderon believes that La Liga could release the wantaway winger on a temporary deal, meaning that Newcastle could land him on a loan deal.
Calderon told the BBC: “We have done that before. It wouldn’t surprise me if they let him go on loan and paid part of the salary.
“It’s a pity to see a player like him in the stands. I think his skill and talent has not gone, he is still a good player who could be playing at a high level in any team in the world. Therefore I think they will have to find a solution to end this agony for the sake of both sides.
“If he doesn’t want to reduce his salary, which would be understandable, they will have to find another way to finish this situation.”
Look, Bale is a big-time player and one that fans would like to see arrive, so if there is ever a chance to get him signed up, it would be now.
Madrid would cover a massive amount of his wages and there would only be a small loan fee to pay.
